When I was younger, every single member of my family plus cousins had something they loved and were known for loving. Everyone else had someone with whom they would talk and share secrets because they had one thing they loved in common thus I was always left out. At family gatherings, in the living room, you could say I was the black sheep of the family.

Each family member tried to make me like what they loved but it didn’t feel like it was my kind of thing. Not until I accidentally decided to watch a YouTube ad of Taeyeon -her Fine music video. Even though I didn’t understand the language, the lyrics spoke to me. The melody, her voice, and everything about that song made me feel satisfied.

I obviously had to find out more about the singer and this small action opened a whole new world that I wouldn’t wish to ever, in my wildest dreams, depart from. This new world made me realise my talent as a dancer of which I was not sure if the heavens gave me one. I would do anything to see the ones who created this amazing, breathtaking world of KPOP.
