K-pop has truly changed my life. As a queer person, you are different from the rest of the people in the crowd, and that can be really tough. However, I found K-pop at a time when I was in a really dark place, and it has made me the person I am today. The love and support that I feel and receive from both K-pop groups and fans are amazing. It’s truly a community that includes all people.

ATEEZ, ZB1, Stray Kids, SHINee, BTS, EXO, NCT, and many other groups truly saved me. It was not just the music, but the groups themselves, being supportive of all people, and creating a safe space for all. Without K-pop, I wouldn’t be here today. To the idols who work tirelessly, thank you so much for saving me and many other people. Thank you for being like older siblings and spreading the message of love ❤️ 🏳️‍🌈
